Four Stars

If you ask me, or many people in Romancelandia, what their absolute favorite rockstar romance series is, they’re probably going to say the Stage Dive series by Kylie Scott then fangirl over their favorite band member (Team Jimmy over here). Strong is a novella starring Martha, sister of Ben from Stage Dive, and Sam the band’s head of security.

I am a sucker for a good bodyguard or, ahem, executive protection officer, romance and Strong checked all my boxes. Martha was the villain of the Stage Dive series, and it was a treat to see her surly ass fall in love hard. Sam is the strong, silent type with a sly sense of humor, and I was totally into him. I am going to make this review my official petition for more bald men in romance.

It was wonderful to have the whole Stage Dive gang back together, and if you’re a fan of the series, this is a fun must read. Did I wish this book was longer? Yes, of course. But it was a super quick and easy read that I enjoyed immensely. It made me smile, laugh, and want to reread the series in its entirety. I’ll read anything Kylie Scott writes, and Strong was a great cherry on top of this series.
